Ray Lewis Statue to be Unveiled Thursday

Posted on September 03, 2014 by Rob Michels

The Ray Lewis statue will be unveiled tomorrow at 11 a.m. and Ravens fans everywhere should be thrilled. The fact that Lewis retired just last year and the team is already putting a statue up of him speaks for how much Baltimore loves him.

In attendance for the unveiling will be Lewis, owner Steve Bisciotti, team president Dick Cass, and general manager/executive vice president Ozzie Newsome. There will also be a number of Lewis’s former teammates, friends and family members in attendance. The celebration will last about fifteen minutes with Lewis giving a quick speech.

So move over Johnny U because Baltimore's favorite leader is coming through.
